On April 21, 2023, the completion and commissioning ceremony of the HARMAN Dandong Phase II project, a plant expansion initiated to meet growing customer orders and increase new business opportunities in China, was hosted by the Dandong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, co-organized by the Cooperation Zone Management Committee and HARMAN Dandong Plant. HARMAN Dandong Phase II project plant can accommodate 4 speaker manufacturing lines, a few final assembly lines and a new canteen. It has a floor area of about 7,000 square meters across three floors.
Attendees included Dan Jonas, Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing at HARMAN, Li Hong, Vice President of HARMAN China and General Manager of HARMAN (China) Technologies Co., Ltd., Yang Song, Deputy Mayor of Dandong City, as well as leaders from various departments of the Dandong Municipal Government and representatives from HARMAN Dandong.
